












The international football, basketball, and volleyball tournament officially concluded last night with a vibrant closing ceremony. Over the past three days, teams and individuals showcased their exceptional talent, competing at the highest level. Medals and trophies were awarded to the top performers, recognizing their dedication and skill. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Ivan Rakitić, ambassador of the Sport2Life global initiative, who personally presented the awards to the participants, adding a special touch to the memorable event.

During May and June, children from all partner organizations participated in the Active and Healthy Lifestyle challenge, during which they collected points for healthy eating, number of daily physical activities, distance from screens, and positive mindset over 2 weeks.
The representative of the Czech Basketball Federation, Tomaš Rozsypal (BCL Olomouc), is the winner of the Active and Healthy Lifestyle challenge and was joined on stage by second-place finisher Ellen Beránková and third-place finisher Julie Vodičková, also Czech basketball players.
In the individual category, awards were given to promising basketball player Petr Memčik (BCL Olomouc), young football player Dario Barbir (Sport2Life 5) and volleyball player Anja Limić (Sport2Life 5).
Best teams!
The Spanish team Federacion Baloncesto de Castilla La Mancha was recognized for demonstrating the best sportsmanship and true basketball spirit, earning the top spot on the podium. They were joined by the second team of the Czech Basketball Federation and Italy’s Pielle Matera.
In football, the second team of the Croatian Sport2Life initiative stood out with a strong performance, celebrating alongside Slovenia’s Endorfin club and Sport2Life’s fifth team.
Croatian volleyball saw a clean sweep by OK Brda, whose first, second, and third teams dominated the competition and took home all the LavCup trophies.

After the medal ceremony, Sport2Life Initiative Ambassador Ivan Rakitić took the stage once again, joined by Mike Saran – the founder of the global Sport2Life initiative. Together, they thanked all the teams for spending this weekend in a sporting spirit and showing that sport is much more than physical health and told them that they are already winners!
